The Hackathon (a blend of ‘hacker’ and ‘marathon’) is an event in which passionate young computer fans participate in a collaborative programming session. In this ninth edition of the ICT Days; the 22-hour marathon will test the talent and creativity of the contestants in making, testing and validating their projects. Open to all students from the ICT area at the graduate, master and PhD levels that belongs to an Italian University.

The event aims to challenge groups of students with programming experience to make use of their teamwork abilities and comply with the objectives set, while also having fun.

During the Hackathon opening, materials will be provided to the students (egg, data and documentation) and receive some scenarios related to the general theme of the challenge. With this setup, the students will be free to explore innovative solutions within these area.

Each group will consist of a maximum of 5 people, with max 50 participants.

In the case of a high demand for participation spots (over 50), a selection will be made by the organizing company (Vodafone). The selected teams will be informed by Tuesday, 12 March, 2019.

The results of the work will be judged by a jury of experts.
